Develop your own professional profile, Join Us, along with almost 6000 other Loss Prevention / Asset Protection professionals around the world! Read the posts, start up conversations, and learn from a deep well of knowledge. The most important thing to do is to be active. Just joining our group will not be the networking you need to get heard, to get noticed, to learn, and to make the necessary connections for your career.

  • Membership - Take advantage of our career, personality assessments, loss prevention webcasts, leadership discussions, and more.

  • Take the LPQ - The LPQ, an online, college accredited course will educate those at the beginning or in earlier career stages, with a complete, foundational set of Loss Prevention principles and best practices. The LPQ covers three domains of knowledge; Retail Environment, Becoming a Successful Business Person, and Loss Prevention Basics and Tools.

  • LPQ Certified - Place the LPQ credential after your name by passing a proctored exam that mirrors the LPQ course material. An LPQ certification shows commitment to learn, a resolve towards career growth, and proven knowledge of Loss Prevention foundational principles such that it is noticed by employers. There are over 70 national retailers that have publicly stated they prefer to hire and promote those with LPF credentials.

  • LPF Recommended Reading - See and read the books recommended by experienced Loss Prevention professionals.

  • Take the LPC - The LPC, an online, college accredited course will educate those further along in their LP career, with advanced Loss Prevention / Asset Protection principles and practices as well as retail business processes and practices. The LPC covers six domains of knowledge; Leadership Principles, Business Principles, Loss Prevention Operations, Safety and Risk Management, Crisis Management, and Supply-Chain Security.

  • LPC Certified - Place the LPC credential after your name by passing a proctored exam that mirrors the LPC course material. An LPC certification shows commitment to learn, a resolve towards career leadership and proven knowledge of advanced Loss Prevention knowledge and business practices such that it is noticed by employees and employers alike. In fact, there are over 70 national retailers that have publicly stated they prefer to hire and promote those with LPF credentials. Unlike the LPQ, a LPC credential will require yearly continuous education and recertification every three years.

  • Loss Prevention TV - Do not be fooled. These 'fun' videos offer a great deal of instruction to the observant. There are Wicklander-Zulawski interviewing techniques and tips, conversations with key industry leaders, and top retail loss prevention conference highlights. Familiarity with such items will help you recognize important names and places that will increase confidence and enhance other's perception of your knowledge.

  • LP Magazine - Research the online article archive of industry's leading LP magazine and take advantage of a free subscription for qualified loss prevention / asset protection professionals and students.
